I’ve been an entrepreneur my entire life-it runs in the family.  I started my first business when I was 17 and spent several years as the owner of a web design company.  In 2001, my passion for business was married with a passion for creating when I was introduced to the amazing transformative medium of photography.  Since then, I’ve build 2 brands with much success.  My first endeavor was part of a husband and wife team; within three years of beginning to shoot professionally, I’d build a brand that served over 60 wedding couples per year.  We grew from less than ten weddings to thirty to more than 60!  Every year since then, I’ve focused on streamlining my workflow to offer personal service to every client while increasing revenues and decreasing the number of clients I serve.  In 2010, I had my highest grossing year while shooting my 2nd to lowest number of weddings since I started.  With a background in marketing, business and entrepreneurship, I have the skills to help other photographers transform their business into a profitable endeavor while investing fewer man hours and increasing profits.

In 2008, I made the decision to create a legacy brand; a brand that will stand the test of time.  In just two short years, Kate Linden Studios has continually increased revenues and gained a strong foundation with more weddings on the books for 2011 than the previous 2 years.  As someone who has crafted several businesses from the ground up, I have the knowledge to share with other photographers to grow their business to a profitable state in a short amount of time.
